Hosea 6:3 LET US ACKNOWLEDGE the LORD; let us PRESS on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.

I find it interesting how often water is used in expressing the work of the Holy Spirit all through the Bible. In the scripture above; The “LET US” talks of our initiating (the action of beginning something) a reverent (showing respect, adoration for a deity) submission to a higher authority over our lives. Then the scripture goes on to express again “let US PRESS ON” to acknowledge him.

A daily choice, decision, and discipline as we continually have to resist the exterior distractions and attractions that gradually drain (remove liquid; remove supply) our well. A well has to be filled continually. We are filled with the Spirit for a purpose. We are to be filled and full of the Holy Spirit daily. “Seek FIRST His Kingdom.” “Give us THIS day our daily bread.” If we are not hungry and thirsty for God then we are sick spiritually. Usually when a person becomes sick naturally they do not want to eat or drink. When we find ourselves drawing away from His Word, praying in tongues, serving, loving, giving, then we need to examine ourselves and find out where the siphon is. What is draining my “inner man”, what is drawing me away and out of His presence, what is quenching Him? Something is wrong if we don’t pray, love, serve and give. As born-again, spirit filled believers we should desire Him first and above everything and anyone. We have to PRESS through so many issues today to stay focused, and forward to grow in Him. We HAVE HIS HOLY SPIRIT TO HELP US EVERY DAY. He has been GIVEN, as a gift to help us LIVE like Him, LOVE like Him. My prayer for you,

2 Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed DAY BY DAY.
Ephesians 3:16

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by HIS SPIRIT IN THE INNER MAN; (“our source is in us”) FILL UP!!! Being strengthened with ALL POWER . . . so that you may have great endurance and patience. Col. 1:11

Have a great day! He made it for you to rejoice and be glad!
