As I sat in His presence this morning these are the thoughts that poured out of my inner man. Yes it is a bit lengthy but my intentions are only to inspire you to pray more and involve Holy Spirit into your ALL.
Heb. 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart
Philippians 2:13 AMP
For it is [not your strength, but it is God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is,
strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good
pleasure.
Daily I endeavor to know Holy Spirit and I am daily astonished at His divine presence, ability, power, peace and
presence. He is the ONE and only who works in us forming Christ in and through us. He can’t be copied and we
Christian’s cannot pretend Him. He is or He isn’t part of our daily lives which produces His fruit gradually sprouting through the heart of man, penetrating, the natural mind (making it spiritual) and the flesh (making it clean). Both mind and flesh are permanently corrupt, under the fall of man. It is through the re-created heart of man (by the Spirit re-created) that the work of transformation takes place in and through us. The HOLY Spirit dwells ONLY IN THE HEART OF A “BORN AGAIN” child of God. Think about that! In our HEART IS THE POWER to conquer ALL that surrounds it. We must remember that the NATURE OF THE SPIRIT in us is HOLY AND DIVINE so therefore it CUTS through (separating) the flesh (not holy and divine) like a sword. “Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God” Eph. 6:17 Interesting when I meditate thinking about it and striving for a real, and living relationship with Him. The SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, the Word of God. Holy Spirit gives power to the Word to separate our flesh, our carnal mind from our “recreated, born- again spirit, heart, inner-man” It’s astonishing when you meditate on it! I just had surgery on my wrist. They cut my bone in half. It was huge! The doctor had to slice my small arm and work around veins, arteries, muscle, ha ha zero fat! But his knife had to slice through not damaging anything on its way to the bone to cut it in half. That’s what the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God does. The soul and heart of man are so like one that it takes HIS POWER to delicately separate it so that what is in the HEART OF MAN CAN FLOURISH …..bringing forth HIS FRUIT, from the inside OUT.
Then we are truly Christ like and we will talk, act, and see the same fruit. Healing’s deliverance, and salvation. I see that the Body of Christ has knowledge and they try to live it from the “outside in” with no involvement of His power (Spirit) which produces from the heart the transforming change in our fallen nature. I guess I am just venting and saddened at those who live such an superficial life pretending His fruit but grieving Him daily with attitudes,
words, and life style.
They attach a cliché to their stained exterior like as though that will make it holy and right. But Holy Spirit can’t be pretended or practiced. He is or He isn’t. His fruit is unique and only He can make it grow. The more I learn the less I know, and again strive to discipline my time and efforts to know Holy Spirit. I pray that today you will not grieve Him, but invite Him to help you. He is our helper! Thank God we were not left alone to live out His Word. We can’t live in Him, with out involving His Spirit. You will continue to be miserable. Phil. 2:13 Message version: What I’m getting at, friends, is that you should simply keep on doing what you’ve done from the beginning. When I was living among you, you lived in responsive obedience. Now that I’m separated from you, keep it up. Better yet, redouble your efforts. Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God’s energy, an energy DEEP WITHIN you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.
