What a gift from God that we have received. GOD IS FAITHFUL
He sent His Son to redeem us from eternal damnation.
Never has there been a season for the Body of Christ to take the time to re-group priorities and RE-TURN TO THE LORD in whom we were called into fellowship. (1 Corinthians 1:9)
So much darkness has covered the earth, and many have fallen back and out of fellowship with God.
Hosea 14:1
“RETURN O Israel, to the LORD your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity.”
It’s a NEW YEAR to examine ourselves and RETURN TO HIM.
Lamentations 3:40 “Let us examine and probe our ways, And let us RETURN to the LORD.”
IT’S A NEW SEASON. GOD MADE IT THAT WAY, SO WE COULD RETURN AND START AFRESH INTO A “NEW YEAR.”
Joel 2:13
“And rend your heart and not your garments. Now RETURN to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness And relenting of evil.”
HIS PROMISE IS FINAL, BUT ITS OUR CHOICE.
Jeremiah 24:7
“I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the LORD; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will RETURN to Me with their whole heart.”
AND THAT’S NOT ALL–He desires to RETURN TO US. Our first and greatest calling is fellowship with Him.
Zechariah 1:3
“RETURN to Me,” declares the LORD of hosts, “that I may RETURN to you,” says the LORD of hosts.”
AND THERE’S MORE–He gave us a HELPER to help us!
So I pray that He, our Helper, will not be grieved or quenched as you enter into THIS NEW YEAR!
Jesus prayed for this time in our lives:
John 14:16
“I will ask the Father, and HE WILL give you ANOTHER HELPER, that HE MAY be with you forever.”
THANK YOU, FATHER. We can always RETURN TO YOU, and YOU gave us Your Spirit to help us RE-TURN.
